Is Summer Finally On It's Way?

I've never been the kind of girl to wear a skirt. I'm usually the one wearing black ripped jeans and a band tee. Recently I found this grey gem in Primark for only £8!!! Weirdly I looked at it and was surprisingly intrigued. I decided to try it on and instantly fell in love with it. (So I went back about 3 hours later and bought it in kaki green) This particular item has been one which I have loved styling. At first I was unsure as to what I would wear it with, however I think I have found the answer. I love to wear this style of skirt with a loose top and casual shoes. I think it is such a casual way to wear a skirt like this. *How many times can I say style and casual in one blog post*

Do you have any clothing items which you find hard to style?
I would love to know in the comments below!

"bakerdays is a Personalised Celebration Cake Specialist, providing quality personalised cakes for all occasions. The delicious range of recipes and sizes are available for delivery 6 days a week, and if you order before 2pm, bakerdays can deliver the very next day! The Letterbox cake is the baby of the bakerdays family. Being just 5” in diameter, it fits perfectly through the Letterbox allowing you to surprise anyone with the most delicious personalised gift.”

For someone who has a massive sweet tooth, reviewing a cake company has to be as good as it gets. Bakerdays got in touch with me via Twitter about reviewing one of their Letterbox cakes and I jumped at the chance. They kindly let me choose and design the entire cake, from what flavour I wanted, to the icing and the photo on top. It was so much fun to create it all. I sent across my design ideas on the 17th March and it arrived in perfect condition on the 23rd. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised because, not only did they deliver the cake, but the presentation and little details really topped it off for me. You receive the cake in a metal tin which is such a lovely touch as you can keep this forever. Another thing is that they include balloons, candles and a party favor. If you were looking into sending a friend or family member a cake for their birthday or any special occasion, I would 100% recommend baker days. In terms of the actual cake itself, I chose a Dairy Free sponge. The reason I chose this is because I believe that if any company can make a fantastic Dairy Free sponge, then all their cakes must be amazing. The real question is, was I right? Well, let's face it, nothing compares to my Nan's chocolate sponge cake.. BUT for a Dairy Free sponge which came by post, it was pretty delicious. The cake was super moist (sorry if you hate that word) and light, which for me was a winner as I hate stodgy cakes. I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. bakerdays gets a 10/10 from me and I'll definitely order from them again.

After lusting after this highlight for so long, I finally received it for my 23rd birthday from my amazing friend Emma. I held off using for so long so that I could film a first impressions on it, SPOILER ALERT: I am OBSESSED!! Jeffree states that his highlighters are a unique formula, super pigmented and a little goes a long way. With these statements in mind, I can confirm that all of them are true. I am in love with this highlighter. For one, just like Jeffree said, they are mind blowingly pigmented, so soft and creamy to touch and they blend beautifully. To see my first impressions of this beautiful highlighter, click the video above. (Also don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe so you never miss a video)

Question of the day: Have you tried any of Jeffree Stars highlighters?
I would love to know your thoughts on them in the comments below!

Missing Summer

Don't get me wrong, I am such an autumn baby. I love crunchy leaves, bobble hats, hot chocolates and autumnal candles. But after looking back at these photos from summer, I am slightly missing it. This dress is my go-to dress for summer. Originally I thought that £54 for a thin summer dress was ridiculous, but seeing as I basically lived in it all summer, I would definitely say that it was worth it and I am considering buying a second one next summer. I love to pair this dress with a wide range of shoes and accessories. As you all know, Dr Martens are my all time favourite shoes, and if I'm being totally honest, I own way too many pairs. I love wearing my white ones in the summer because even though they are technically 'winter' boots, I feel like because they are white I can get away with them in the summer time.

I would love to know if you are missing summer, and if so, what are you missing the most?
